By downloading, accessing, or using Taleb ("the App"), a platform for educational courses and student resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Taleb is designed to help students learn, collaborate, and access high-quality courses. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to register for Taleb. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use educational services. By using Taleb, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Minimal, focused on learning: We collect your name, email address, and educational level to personalize courses. Optional profile details (avatar, university, year). We also collect course progress, quiz results, and saved materials — only to improve your learning. We never collect sensitive data without consent. Taleb does not sell your information.

Your data is used exclusively to deliver educational content: recommend relevant courses, save your progress, issue certificates, and provide support. We use aggregated analytics to enhance our curriculum. No advertising, no behavioral profiling — just learning insights.

Taleb uses industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect your personal information and course materials. All data transmitted between you and our servers is encrypted. Access to your account is protected with secure authentication. We treat your educational records with the highest confidentiality.

Your course progress, certificates, and profile are stored securely on our servers. We retain your information while your account is active. You may delete your account anytime; we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except when retention is required by law. Backups are encrypted and periodically purged.

Taleb may integrate with trusted educational tools (e.g., video hosting, payment processors) strictly to deliver courses. These partners are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for other purposes. We do NOT share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

You can access, update, or delete your profile, course history, and any personal data via account settings. You may request a copy of your educational data. Taleb respects your privacy rights under applicable laws, including GDPR and UAE data protection regulations.

Taleb is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it immediately. Schools and parents using Taleb for younger students must provide explicit consent.

Taleb is operated from the United Arab Emirates. We fully comply with the UAE Cybercrime Law, Dubai Electronic Transactions Law, and all applicable federal data protection regulations. Your use of the App constitutes acceptance of these legal frameworks.

Taleb fosters respectful learning. You agree not to misuse the platform: no cheating, plagiarism, harassment, sharing inappropriate content, impersonating instructors, or attempting to disrupt services. Violations may result in account suspension or removal from courses.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Taleb for users who violate these Terms, applicable laws, or third-party rights. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to access courses ceases.

Taleb and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use educational content. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements in our educational services or legal requirements. Changes will be posted here with an updated revision date. Continued use of Taleb after changes means you accept the revised policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai. We also offer alternative dispute resolution for educational matters.
