By downloading, accessing, or using the Samo application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Samo is a private instant messaging application, similar to popular messaging apps like WhatsApp, but with enhanced privacy features and end-to-end encryption. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App (or the minimum age in your country). By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement.

We collect minimal data: Your phone number for account creation, profile information you choose to add (name, profile photo), and your contacts to help you connect with others (optionally). We do NOT collect message content � all messages are end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by Samo.

We use your information solely to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes: delivering messages, syncing your account across devices, providing customer support, and preventing spam or abuse. We never sell your personal data.

Samo uses industry-standard end-to-end encryption to protect your messages, calls, and media. This means your conversations are secured with a lock, and only the recipients you choose can unlock and read them. Not even Samo can decrypt or access your private communications.

Messages are stored on your device and our servers temporarily for delivery purposes. Once delivered, messages are deleted from our servers. Media you send may be stored in encrypted form to enable redownloading. You can delete your messages and media at any time.

Samo does not use third-party analytics or advertising services. We do not share your data with any third parties except when required by law or with your explicit consent.

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the app settings. You can also request a copy of your data. When you delete your account, your messages and profile information are permanently removed from our servers.

Samo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Samo is operated from the United Arab Emirates. By using the App, you agree to comply with all applicable federal and emirate-specific laws and regulations of the UAE, including, but not limited to, the Dubai Electronic Transactions and Commerce Law, the UAE Cybercrime Law, and any applicable data protection laws.

You agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else do so. This includes, but is not limited to: sending spam, uploading malicious software, engaging in abusive or harassing behavior, impersonating others, or violating the rights of other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable laws, without prior notice or liability.

Samo shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. We make no guarantees regarding the availability or performance of the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
